Our Rates
Our standard business hours (for rate purposes) are as follows;
Monday - Friday       -     8am - 5pm

Our competitive rates are as follows (these may change to suit packages or specific venues and jobs) - All prices are ex GST;

Labour and Transport Charges

Metro Area's
Install/Setup/Pack-down Labour weekdays (8am-5pm)           -          $70 p/hr per person & charged at min 2 hours per person
Install/Setup/Pack-down Labour weekdays (5pm-8am)           -          $80 p/hr per person & charged at min 3 hours per person
Install/Setup/Pack-down Labour Sundays & Public Holidays   -          $100 p/hr per person & charged at min 3 hours per person


Operate Labour Monday 8am through Saturday 5pm              -          $80 p/hr per person & charged at min 3 hours per person
Operate Labour Saturday 5pm through Monday 8am              -          $100 p/hr per person & charged at min 3 hours per person

$45 per delivery or collection within 25km from our Wangara office
$55 per delivery or collection within 40km from our Wangara office
Any METRO delivery or transport requirements past 40km will be charged at the rate of $1 per km based on distance from our Wangara office

Country Area's
Our Country delivery and collection rates are $180 per travel hour - this includes vehicle costs and 2 people.


ALL Hire and Event labour requirements outside of our above standard business hours will be subject to a minimum 3 hour charge per person. A minimum charge of 1 hour per person applies during our standard business hours.

Terms and Conditions
To enable us to keep the prices of events at a competitive level, it is fair and equitable that a cancellation policy applies to all booking confirmations.
For the purpose of all below terms and conditions Kombat Industries Pty Ltd trades as Kombat Events and Kombat Technical Services.


Terms & Conditions -
1 GENERAL - All hire goods remain the property of Kombat Industries Pty Ltd at all times. Kombat Industries Pty Ltd retains the right to alter, vary or substitute any item without notice. All goods are subject to stock availability.
2 PRICES - Unless otherwise indicated, all pricing is exclusive of GST. Prices are per day.
3 PAYMENTS -
    -    30% NON-REFUNDABLE booking confirmation charge of total bill to be paid upon confirmation of order - equipment and order will not be classed as confirmed until this 30% is received and cleared in our account.
    -    70% remaining amount of bill to be paid at least 7 days prior to your delivery date. Should this balance payment not be received by us your equipment booking is at risk for re-booking to another job should contact with you and payment not be successful.
4 LATE ORDERS- ALL orders placed during setup or delivery of goods are to be charged an additional late order service fee.
5 PICK UP- All equipment must be available for pick up immediately after the event. No responsibility is taken for any goods left in or on our equipment after close of the event.
6 CANCELLATIONS -
    -    Any order cancelled more than 7 days prior to your event setup date will incur no cancellation fee's (except 30% Non-Refundable Confirmation Charge which will have already been paid)
    -    Any order cancelled within the 7 day period directly prior to your event setup date will be offered no refund. We have suppliers, staff, equipment and services we have booked for your event and these will already have been paid for by us. Should your event total balance not have been paid by the 7 days prior to your event setup date this will still be an active invoice and will need to be paid.
7 CLAIMS - Please notify
Kombat Industries Pty Ltd of any problems with your order on delivery. No discussion will be entered into after the event closes.
8 CALL-OUT SERVICE -
Kombat Industries Pty Ltd offer a 24 hour call out service for any genuine breakdown or fault with Kombat Industries Pty Ltd equipment. If the technician arrives on site to find the equipment has been broken, damaged, flooded, misused or mistreated the technician will charge a call out service fee. If the technician finds that the equipment is in fully working order but the problem was due to the Hirer using the equipment incorrectly or due to someone else's equipment that was connected into the Owners equipment a call out service fee will also apply. For our Call out and Service charges please see our Rates section above.
9 BLOWN OR DAMAGED EQUIPMENT AND SPEAKERS -
Blowing a speaker is quite a hard thing to do (no this is not a challenge) We are aware that from time to time there will be an issue with a speaker whereby one of the HF/LF Drivers or amplifier module might have a problem. In this case we generally will accept the fact that we live in a world that isn't perfect and you won't be held liable to the speaker's fault. Whereby there is obvious signs of neglect or abuse (yes we can tell when a speaker has been turned up to too loud and for too long), we will keep record of the hire detail and have it evaluated by the repairers, after this evaluation from the experts if the decision is that the speaker/sub/cd player or mixer has failed due to no fault of its own then you will be required to pay the repair charge without question and within 7 days of being advised of the damage. We will issue you with an invoice for the damage and if this is not paid within this 7 day period this debt will be passed onto debt collectors to follow up with the debt and in turn will proceed with legal action should the debt collection agency deem necessary.

Hiring & Payment Agreement
1. Definitions
"Equipment" means the items hired out by the Owner to the Hirer. "Hirer" means any person who requests the Owner to hire Equipment to it, including its employees and agents. "Owners" means Kombat Industries
Pty Ltd - ABN  (trading as Kombat Events and Kombat Techincal Services), its employees and agents. 'Terms' means these terms and conditions.

2. Terms of Payment
The Hirer agrees to pay the Owner's hire charge and any other charges, including charges for loss, damage and repairs or any tax, GST, duty, levy, or other expenses paid or payable by the Owner. If not otherwise specified by the owner in writing all hiring charges including taxes and duties are to be paid prior to delivery of the equipment. The Hirer agrees to provide the Owner with the Hirer's credit card number, expiry date and any other information, which may be necessary to debit the Hirer's credit card prior to delivery of the equipment. Subsequent charges for loss, damage, repairs or other expenses are to be paid within seven days of the relevant invoice. The Hirer hereby authorises the Owner to debit the Hirer's credit card with the amount shown on the relevant invoice if the Hirer has not paid that amount within seven days of the date of the relevant invoice. The Hirer agrees to pay any expenses incurred or loss suffered by the Owner as a result of breach of the Hirer of its obligation pursuant to these Terms (including legal costs on a solicitor-client basis) and to pay all costs and expenses incurred by the Owner, its legal advisers, mercantile agents and others in respect of anything instituted or being considered against the Hirer, whether for debt, possession of any Equipment or otherwise. The hirer acknowledges and agrees that the owner may pay a rebate, commission or other financial benefit to event organisers or like suppliers in connection with the hiring of the Equipment to the Hirer.
For all install and sales work payment is required up front before any items are delivered or installed.
Should invoices be applied on an account basis then the invoice will need to be paid within the specified terms of that invoice. Should this agreement not be met then all discounted amounts on your invoice will be forfeited and re-applied to your invoice and overdue charges on the FULL amount owed will apply to your account at a rate of 2% per week of the original total owed. These overdue charges will be sent out on a "Pay on Receipt" basis until the debt is paid. Should the outstanding debt including all additional charges not be paid in full within a 12 month period from the original due date then this full overdue account will be sent to our debt collection agency and all collection charges incurred be charged on to you (the client) as penalty of non payment and recovery processes started. Our Recovery process will incur a $220 administration charge applied from the original due date of the amount in question. With a further $220 administration charge applied from the date the amount is sent to our debt collection agent.

3. Credit Card Payment
A Surcharge applies to all payments, this is currently 2.2%. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard and AMEX.

4. Termination of Hire
The Owner at its discretion may notwithstanding the specified period of hire and notwithstanding any waiver of any previous default by the hirer forthwith terminate this Agreement with or without notice to the Hirer and re-possess the equipment in any of the following events:
(a) If the Hirer shall fail to pay any hiring charges within two (2) days of the due date for such payment
(b) If the Hirer shall do or permit any act or thing whereby the Owners' rights in the equipment are or may be prejudiced
(c) If the Hirer should become or be made insolvent or bankrupt or make any arrangement or composition with his creditors or in the case of a Hirer being a limited company, should any order be made or resolution passed for the winding up of such company or an Administrator, Receiver or Manager be appointed
(d) If the Hirer commits any breach of this Agreement.
For the purposes of repossessing the equipment, the Owner may enter into or upon any premises where the equipment may be without prejudice to the rights of the Owner to recover from the Hirer any moneys due hereunder or any damages for breach thereof and so far as allowed by law the Hirer indemnifies the Owner in respect of any claims, damages or expenses arising out of any action taken under this clause.

5. The Hirer's Obligations
The Hirer will:
(a) bear responsibility for the Equipment hired from the time of its delivery until collection by or return to the owner;
(b) upon installation, delivery or collection of the Equipment immediately examine the Equipment to satisfy itself as to its condition and suitability and fitness for the purpose to which it requires the Equipment. In accepting the Equipment the Hirer acknowledges that it has duly examined the Equipment and has satisfied itself as required. The Hirer acknowledges that it has not in any way relied upon the skill or judgement or any representation made by or on behalf of the Owner in respect of the Equipment, its purpose, suitability or performance. Should the Hirer alter its installation or delivery requirements prior to, during, or after installation or delivery, the Hirer is liable for all extra costs of the Owner's employees and cartage;
(c) assume the risk of and indemnify and hold the Owner harmless from and against any and all property damage and personal injury resulting from:
(I) the use of the Equipment;
(ii) contact with underground cables, pipes, services or other obstructions;
(iii) all necessary surface repairs.
(d) use the Equipment in a proper, safe and prudent manner and only for the purpose and capacity for which is was designed.
(e) ensure all Equipment is returned or ready for collection by the Owner's driver, in a clean, dry and properly packed condition and if being collected, is readily accessible. The Hirer will pay for all cleaning or drying costs and for any damage resulting from not properly drying, cleaning and/or packing the Equipment.

6. Loss of or Damage to Equipment
If the Equipment is lost, breaks down or is damaged, the Hirer must immediately notify the Owner of the details. Notification shall not absolve the Hirer from its obligations under these Terms. In the event that the Equipment breaks down or becomes unsafe to use, the Hirer shall immediately stop using the Equipment and take all necessary steps to prevent the Equipment from sustaining any further damage. The hirer must also take all steps necessary to prevent injuries from occurring to any person or property as a result of the condition of the Equipment and must not repair or attempt to repair the Equipment without the Owner's prior written consent. If the Equipment is lost or damaged and the loss of or damage to the Equipment is caused by the negligence or wilful act of the Hirer or the breach of any of these Terms by the Hirer, the Hirer shall without limitation be liable for the following;
(a) any costs incurred by the Owner in repairing or replacing the Equipment;
(b) hire charges for the Equipment until the Equipment is replaced or repaired;
(c) any other costs whatsoever incurred or loss suffered by the Owner as a result of the damage to or loss of the Equipment.

7. Release and Indemnity
The Hirer hereby releases the Owner from, and agrees to indemnify the Owner in respect of any third party claims, action, suits, demands, costs and expenses for damage or injury to person or property arising directly or indirectly out of the hire or use of the Equipment by the Hirer or these Terms.

8. Insurance
The Hirer will maintain at its own expense all appropriate policies of insurance:
(a) for theft and damage to the Equipment hired in an amount not less than the full replacement cost of the Equipment;
(b) for liability, property and casualty insurance coverage in amounts necessary to fully protect the Owner and its Equipment against all claims, loss or damage whatsoever.
(c) any monies required for damage or theft to equipment is to be paid to us within 7 days of the damage occuring or immediately upon the date the equipment has been examined by our selected repairer to have resulted in abuse or neglect by the Hirer.

9. Availability
All goods are subject to stock availability and if quoted stock is not available a suitable replacement may be used at the Owners discretion without prior notification to the Hirer.
